Visitation will precede the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Geddings, husband of the late Eloise Beach 'Weezie' Geddings, died June 22, 2011. Born March 1, 1933, he was a son of the late John and Claudia Pack Geddings. He served in the Navy on the USS Missouri during the Korean conflict. He majored in Business at U.S.C. and had retired as Treasurer of Bagnal Builders Supply. He was a member of Rotary Club and Covenant Presbyterian Church and enjoyed growing day lilies, gardening and fishing. Surviving are his daughters, Diana Geddings Anderson (Jay) of Columbia, Fay Elizabeth Geddings of Irmo; sons, Glenn Mathis Geddings Jr. (Marsha) of Columbia, John D. Geddings (Kim) of Columbia; grandchildren, Jesse Anderson (Stephanie), Jason Anderson, Sarah Scruggs (Charley), Kevin Ross, Rachel Robinson and Meg Geddings; sister-in-law, Jean Geddings of Pendleton; brother-in-law, Richard Breeland of Columbia.
