Officiating will be the Rev. Steve Allen. The family would like to extend the opportunity to anyone who wishes to depart with the family from the funeral home to meet at 10:30 a.m. for procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Mrs. Grimsley, widow of William "Bill" Napoleon Grimsley, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Born in Florence, SC, she was a daughter of the late L.E. Keefe and Elizabeth Finklea Keefe. She had been a resident of the area since 1952 and had retired as a legal secretary from Allen Wise, Esquire. She was fond of collecting dolls. Surviving Mrs. Grimsley are her son, Robert M. Grimsley (Debra) of Elgin, SC, and stepdaughter, Jane Fletcher (Randall) of Lexington, SC. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia Lesesne, and a sister, Mary O'Doherty.
