| HIST | PENNY DEE TURNER MILLER Posted Saturday, October 3, 2020 6:00 am Penny Dee Turner Miller, 65, wife of Ronnie Miller, died on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020, at her home. Born on Dec. 12, 1954, in Key West, Florida, she was a daughter of the late John William Turner and Hester Demerrit Turner. She was a bookkeeper with Derle Lowder Public Accountant for more than 27 years. Her family and work were her hobbies. Survivors in addition to her husband of 49 years include three children, Chad Miller (Tammy), Todd Miller (Libby) and Nicole Brumback, all of Sumter; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia "Pat" Cipov of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Marvis Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Sumter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a charity of one's choice. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements. [1] | |
