JACOBS Annie Ruth Robertson Jacobs, 89, widower of Wilfred Eugene Jacobs, died Monday, March 9, 2009, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Hovey Leonard and Ila Ruth Baker Robertson. Mrs. Jacobs was of the Presbyterian faith and a retired bookkeeper. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ann Davis and husband, Luther Sr., of Sumter and Glenna Milliken and husband, Randy, of Murrells Inlet; three brothers, Leland F. Robertson, Marion Leonard Robertson and wife, Carol, all of Sumter, and James E. Robertson and wife, Barbara, of Nicholasville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Glenn (Cissy) Christmas, Luther Davis Jr., William E. Davis and wife, Tammy, Robert W. Riley Jr. and wife, Samantha, and Valerie R. Riley; five great-grandchildren, Brandon S. Davis, Rodger M. Davis, Tiffany L. Davis, Jayden R. Christmas and Hunter R. Riley. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Lisa M. Riley and Linda M. Riley; two sisters, Juanita Newman and Dorothy Nesbitt; and two brothers, Charles Robertson and Hovey Robertson. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Stuart Mizelle officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
