| HIST | Date Published: February 7, 2009 LINDA S. WALL MANNING – Linda Stancil Wall, wife of Rondal J. "Ron" Wall, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at her home in Manning. Born Nov. 30, 1948, in Raleigh, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Reuben R. and Nell Walters Stancil. She was a retired registered nurse for the state of South Carolina, and a member of Manning First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of Manning; a son, Jay Wall and his wife, Amanda, of Manning; a daughter, Parker W. Johnson and her husband, Michael, of Manning; her constant companion, her dog Buddy, and her "granddogs," Oscar and Edison; two brothers, Russell Stancil and his wife, Rita, of Garner, N.C., and George "Skippy" Stancil and his wife, Sandra, of Cary, N.C.; and a sister, Carolyn Gardner and her husband, Ronnie, of Garner. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Manning First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rob Pierce and Dr. Bev Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1079 Country Club Circle.
