| HIST | of Bishopville, South Carolina Virginia E. Caughman BISHOPVILLE -- Virginia E. Caughman, 63, wife of Leonard M. Caughman, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at her home. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of Elise Folsom Elmore and the late Roland Goff Elmore. Mrs. Caughman was a member of Mizpah Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; her mother; a daughter, Lisa C. Kelley (Wayne) of Lugoff; and four grandchildren, Rolanda A. Kelley, Ryan W. Kelley, Briana M. Caughman and Emily G. Caughman. She was preceded in death by a son, David M. Caughman. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Will Cline officiating. Burial will be in Piedmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and other times at the home, 532 Tiger Lily Road, Sumter. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 700 DeKalb St., Camden, SC 29020. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home of Bishopville is in charge of the arrangements.
