CHARLESTON - Jenna Rebecca Harrington and Matthew Joseph DeVenuto were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the White Point Gardens gazebo. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Earl Harrington of Sumter, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dargan J. Coker of Sumter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Harrington of Lake City. She is employed by Camellia Food Stores of Virginia Beach, Va. The bridegroom is the son of Joseph N. DeVenuto of Saint Cloud, Fla., and Ms. Domenica R. DeVenuto of Mays Landing, N.J., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph DeVenuto of New York City, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Colletti of San Bernardino, Calif. He is employed by The Heritage Store of Virginia Beach. Steve Vickers officiated at the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal ivory strapless silk gown embroidered with accents of golden sequins and white pearls on the bodice that continued the full length of the A-line gown to the semi-cathedral train. Her veil was adorned with Swarovski crystals and embellished with white pearls and golden sequins. She carried a bouquet of red American Beauty roses hand-tied with red satin ribbon with white pearls. Ms. Kristi Leigh Crosby served as maid of honor. The bridegroom's father served as best man. The mothers were escorted by Allen Johnson and Steven Dunn. The reception was given by the parents of the bride at Virginia's on King, Charleston. The bridegroom's father and stepmother, Linda DeVenuto, hosted the rehearsal dinner at California Dreaming, Charleston.
