Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born in Lake City, South Carolina, a son of the late Carroll Eugene and Alma Cantey Bramlett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. Mr. Bramlett was a district supervisor with B.C. Moore & Sons Department Stores for 35 years. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Griffin Bramlett of the home; three daughters, Cindy Ackerman of Beaufort, SC, Kathy (Charles) Miles of Conway, SC, and Dana (Gordon) Moody of Florence; two brothers, Jimmy (Linda) Bramlett of Scranton, SC, and Jack Bramlett of Florence; two nieces, Stephanie Garris of Scranton and Jackie (Charles) Edwards of Bennettsville, SC; a nephew, Brian (Lynn) Bramlett of Coward, SC; and five grandchildren, Josh Rabon and Jake Rabon, both of Conway, and Hunter Lewis, Ashleigh Ackerman and Morgan Ackerman, all of Beaufort. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Milton Ackerman. Memorials may be made to any veterans-related charity.   [1]
