She was born in Sumter, a daughter of Arthur Herman and Bessie Lucille Baker Smith. Mrs. Coker was a homemaker and a member of Green Acres Assembly of God in Sumter. She was also a member of the Elvis Presley Fan Club. Survivors in addition to her parents are her husband, Curtis Eugene Coker Sr. of Florence; four sons, Charles Hays Jr., Richard Hays, William Hays Sr. and Curtis Eugene Coker Jr.; three daughters, Bonnie Page Coker, Shawna McCoy and Crystal Gayle Coker; two brothers, Bruce Smith and Chris Smith; two sisters, Darlene Leakey and Tammy Sweeney; 24 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Waters-Powell Funeral Home in Florence. A memorial service will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Green Acres Assembly of God, Sumter.
