Officiating will be the Rev. Robert 'Butch' Powell, the Rev. Jimmy Walker and the Rev. Junior Jacobs. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be the Frettie Powell Sunday School Class at Red Bank Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Red Bank Baptist Church, 120 Community Drive, Lexington, SC 29073 or Connie Maxwell Children's Home, PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648. Mr. Brown, beloved husband of Joline Truesdale Brown, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Born in Florence, he was the son of the late Harry M. Brown and Geneva Mooneyhan Brown. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Brown was co-owner of Magneto & Electric Service prior to his retirement.
