Keefe, Jr. died Saturday, October 13, 2012, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, October 15, 2012, at Carolina Funeral Home located at 215 E. Hwy. 378 Bypass, Scranton, SC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at 2:00 PM, at Calvary Baptist Church, Lake City. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the church sanctuary. Private burial will follow. Surviving are her children, Janet Keefe Evans (Les) of Columbia, Herbert C. Keefe (Susan) of Sumter and Lynn Keefe Fitch of Pamplico; sister, Rosene T. Guy (Vernon) of Tampa, FL; brother Clarence Turner (Blondell) of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren, Michael Evans (Kim) and Cheryl E. Whittle (Brad) both of West Columbia, Kevin Keefe (Elizabeth) and Kyle Keefe both of Sumter, and Tiffany F. Taylor (Lee) of Greenville and Jonathan B. Fitch (Misty) of Pamplico; 7 great-grandchildren; and four sisters-in-law, Dollee Turner, Frances Turner, Betty Ann Turner and Mary Stumpf; and one brother-in-law, Bill McKenzie.
