Private, Comapny A - Resolved - Civil War - He enlisted 26 Jun 1861. His service records does not note his death. His is reported by the Co A Memory Roll to have died of diease as a prisoner of war at Fort Delaware prison camp (Confederate Historian, Microcopy M16). However, Private Boykin was released from Fort Delaware prison on 10 Jun 1865, survived the journey home, and was living in 1880 Kershaw County after the War. He lived until 12 February 1915.
