Born on May 5, 1935, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Hugh C. and Dorothy Wragg McLaurin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; her daughter, Karen "Misty" Banks; and brother, Hugh "Tiger" C. McLaurin Jr. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy M. Hatcher; two sons, George Thomas Self Jr. (Beth) and Michael Wragg Self (Neise); nine grandchildren, David Banks, Daniel Banks (Pamela), Drew Banks (Sharon), Matthew Banks, Batey Rourk (Chris), Anna Dolan (Ryan), Christina Cowper (Will), Candice Heinz and Michael Self Jr.; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Bunny was the essence of a true lady. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Bunny loved the Lord, her family and friends. She had a contagious laugh that would brighten everyone around her. Bunny will be deeply missed by all whose life she touched. Bunny was a devout Christian, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and served the Lord in many different capacities all of her life. Funeral services and burial will be private.
