| HIST | EDWARD EUGENE TODD III Posted Tuesday, November 5, 2019 6:00 am Edward Eugene Todd III, age 81, beloved husband of the late Dorothy Copple Todd, died on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he was a son of the late Edward Eugene Todd Jr. and Doris Davis Todd. Mr. Todd attended the Church of the Holy Cross and was a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter. Mr. Todd is survived by two sons, Michael Davis Todd of Sumter and Stephen Lear Todd and his wife, Katherine, of Raleigh, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Davis and Katie Todd; and one sister, Beverly Gay Todd and her husband, Chuck Trickett, of Raleigh. A private service will be held. Memorials may be made to The Church of the Holy Cross, 335 N. Kings Highway, Sumter, SC 29154.
