Born May 1, 1942, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Jake Hodge and Sadie Galloway Hodge. Survivors include three sisters, Mary Ann Lyles, Diane Hodge and Bobby Jean Carraway, both of Sumter; and one brother, Randall Hodge of Mayesville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Hodge. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Wayne McElveen. The family will receive friends following the service in Providence Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
